[DYSPHAGIA] glucofilm testing--revisited

At our university hospital, we are considering conducting a study to
determine the effectiveness of glucofilm testing versus blue dye to
determine aspiration during oral intake with patients who have a trach. We
are still in the gathering information phase. Does anyone know of articles
comparing the two methods for determining aspiration with oral intake? We
have read the articles previously recommended on this listserv and they
discuss the two methods when used with enteral feeding. Also, is anyone who
currently uses glucofilm testing willing to share a protocol? Any
information would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to contact me
directly.
