You know, this last message is verging on the defamatory.  If you do not have the courage to state what you believe to be some sort of self serving agenda - though goodness knows what it could be - then please refrain from saying anything. I have posted to this list for nearly fifteen years.  Originally, I was vilified for suggesting that one had to pay attention to gastroesophageal function as that "was not the SLPs area of concern".  I'm glad to see that this has changed somewhat.  I have no intention of ceasing to demand proper and appropriate training for all who take on such a potentially dangerous function. I spatient safety now so secondary?  I hope not.
