Hi All,
a physiotherapist from a pulmonary rehab group has asked me about a
patient. I have very limited details about medical history/medications
etc...
gentleman in about his 60's with COPD...when he does moderate to high
intensity exercise (as is required in the group) reports that he feels
like he is swallowing/gulping air, then has pain in his chest, and then
a significant amount of burping.
That's all the info I have, sorry. I haven't seen him...it was just a
question and I've never seen this before.
Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas on the cause? Anything SP can do
to help? Anybody else who could help?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated by the gentleman, I'm
sure.
Thanks in advance,
Deanna
