Dear Michael,
  I think the key finding was "No esophageal peristalsis during the
endoscopy."  This does not seem to be an oral/pharyngeal problem at all, thus I don't think thermal stim, pharyngeal exercises or Vital Stim will have any effect.  Best bet is to continue with GI follow-up for the esophageal problem and Neuro to check on the Vagus Nerve functioning. Sounds like the esophagus isn't getting the message to move the food.  Diane
