[Dysphagia] 12 month old & swallowing

I would suggest at pediatric GI. Sounds like she's having reflux

Subject: [Dysphagia] 12 month old & swallowing

Hi,

I have a client who is 12 months old and is having difficulty swallowing. She has had 2 open-heart surgeries to correct birth defects. She was eating well but after her second surgery she stopped eating anything but liquids. She gags a lot and vomits inconsistently. A modified barium swallow was done and her swallowing mechanism seems intact. She seems fearful but not hypersensitive. What could be causing the gagging and vomitting in this patient?
