[Dysphagia] Finance and research

With respect to the question about financial interests and reearch, there is an early release of the following article in JAMA, available in full at:
  http://jama.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/full/296.8.jed60051v1?etoc
The Influence of Money on Medical Science

It makes very interesting reading. My own experience has included pressure to include, as authors, people who had nothing to do with the research, pressure to conceal invalid data because of the large sums of money provided by the funding authority (government),and other, even more disturbing, events.
