The Pat Saunders straws look great. Does anyone know if they are available in North America?

Hello Kim

I've used Pat Saunders' straws with inpatients and outpatients:

http://www.activemobility.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=813

http://www.livingaidsonline.co.uk/acatalog/Drinking.html

They're no good for thick liquids but then I don't use thickened liquids
unless absolutely the only option. And for many of the people with PD that
I've worked with, thickened liquids have not helped, or made things worse.

Hope that helps.

Paula
