Speech Pathology vacancy: California State Veterans home. Multi-level, 1100 bed retirement community, situated on 550 beautiful acres in the Heart of Wine Country. Located in the town of Yountville (known for its spas, hot air balloons and world-renowned restaurants), it is minutes from all of the major wineries and an easy drive to San Francisco, Tahoe, or the ocean. On the grounds of the Veterans Home is a 9-hole golf course, the Napa Valley Museum and a 1200 seat state-of-the-art theater (which is home to the Napa Valley Symphony).
20 person Rehab team. New graduates are welcome and we can provide CFY supervision. Full-time, CA State Civil Service position, which offers a full benefit package, including retirement, medical, dental, vision, sick/vacation leave, and 13 paid holidays a year.
The Speech Pathology Department offers services for cognitive linguistic, speech/language, voice, alternative/augmentative communication, and dysphagia impairments. It is a great learning environment, with strong mentoring.
