I'd recommend that GI go back and scope pt.--sounds more esophageal to me.
I don't understand why GI would consider a videofluroscopy evidence that
the pt. does not have any GI problems, since this is generally made for
pharyngeal function assessment during swallowing--even with an espohageal
scan. If you have FEES capability, you may wish to try that to look for
tissue condition, symptoms of reflux/motility problems that affect the
pharynx during a meal. But, I'd still like to see GI investigate further.
Anyone else have better suggestions?
