[Dysphagia] outpatient dysphagia therapy
I work for a private practice, not affiliated with a
hospital. So no dietary department for us! I have
ordered thickener to use as part of my dysphagia
assessment and/or treatment but so far I've been
asking patients to bring food in from home. I'm
wondering whether it's more reasonable to do that or
to ask my company to start footing the bill. (They
already think we SLPs are asking for lots of $$$ for
resources!)
