Hi all; am looking for any info to help this pt:
has hx of bladder ca; I believe this was treated with
some sort of hormonal treatment but don't have details.
He is now experiencing severe dysphagia to solids and liquids, occasional difficulty with saliva as well.
VFSS has been scheduled.
Is there any evidence for pharyngeal muscle dysfunction
as side effect of treatments for cancer (other than chemo
or radiation)? This was suggested by one MD. If so, can
this improve?
Any suggestions or info greatly appreciated.
Naomi
