[Dysphagia] kennedy syndrome

I just got a referral for a patient with Kennedy Syndrome. The report from
the MD included a recommendation for swallow therapy to include
strengthening exercises. Since this is similar in presentation to ALS, I
would think that exercises would be contraindicated-or am I missing
something?
