[Dysphagia] FEES Advanced Competencies

Our inpatient rehabilitation program is in the process of establishing advanced competencies for SLP's performing FEES independently. I was interested in finding out about other hospitals in California who currently have SLP's performing FEES independently or are in the process of establishing protocols etc...
I am particularily interested in finding out what your medical centers have required as far as the approval process. I'm thinking that since we now have FEES under our scope of practice in the state of California, that we may not need to go through multiple commitees for approval. What has your experience been?
