FACULTY
Madonna Nash, MS, OTR/L, is an NDT certified Occupational Therapy Instructor
and teaches NDT and SI coursed throughout the United States, Europe and
South America. She co-owns and manages a private practice, City Kids, Inc.,
in Chicago. She treats a wide age range of children with diagnosis of CP,
PPI and sensory processing disorders.
Jessica Lyons, MS, OTR/L, received her Master's degree in occupational
therapy at Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Boston
University. Jessica has a license to practice occupational therapy in New
Jersey and is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy
Association. She has pediatric experience in the areas of Early Intervention
and school based OT and is a member of the Center for Pediatric Feeding and
Swallowing at St. Joseph' Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ in March
of 2003.
Kristen Owen, DPT is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry.
She holds a New Jersey license to practice physical therapy and is an active
member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Kristen is a staff
member at St. Joseph's Regional Medial Center as a Senior Physical Therapist
in the Center for Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Center. Kristen received
her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey.
Merrill Berkowitz, Ph.D. Behavior Analyst, obtained his doctorate in school
psychology at Syracuse University and a Master's degree in clinical
psychology at Loyola College in Maryland. He joined St. Joseph's Regional
Medical Center's Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Center in 2001 after
completing 1-year internship with the Kennedy Krieger and Marcus Institute's
/Johns Hopkins School of Medicine providing services to children and
pediatric feeding disorders and severe behavior problems. Prior to attending
Syracuse University he was a clinical specialist with the Kennedy Krieger
Institute's Pediatric Feeding Disorders Program. He has presented and
published research in the area of pediatric feeding disorders and school
psychology.
