[Dysphagia] infiltrate and effusion

  Hello!
I am currently a graduate student completing an affilition at a Rehab center. I have a question regarding the significance of infiltrates and plueral effusions relative to aspiration pneumonia. Does effusion mean aspiration pneumonia? Does pneumonia cause effusions? Also wondering if it matters if RLL versus LLL pneumonia is indicitive of apsiration. If anyone could give me some insight that would be great.
   Thank you,
    Liz
