Irene ..I think Janets clinical reasoning does make sense and I think she
systematically followed her hunch ....good work I would say... hind..sight
...we can say what you are saying ...but I am sure a GI would not have
bought your story as readily as Janets with visual proof ...post trache it
is not uncommon for patient to differentiate the pain or sensations from
healing trache to globus sensation at pyrifoam fossa....and some of the
oldies with built-in dementia are so vague any way ... difficult to know
what is really happening ...a MBS can throw good light ..worse can happen is
your hunch may be wrong ..but you still have positive record and everything
down is okay ...I routinely do esophagus in any one above 70 takes few
minute only and you will agree sometime most unexpected things can be
detected .... I remember on chap there was ca growth building up in LES ...
the radiologist or the Physician could have taken few years to locate the
problem when it would have manifested ...
