[DYSPHAGIA] A Question for Hospital SLPs

Hi Jana,

I'm the sole SLP at an acute care hospital in the Northwest.  In order to 
provide 7 day coverage I share call with 3 other SLP's who work at 2 acute 
care facilities and one nursing home in two nearby communities.  We rotate 
weekends so each of us works 1 weekend a month, covering all four facilities. 
 We assess all new swallow and speech referrals in all four facilities, and 
treat acute pt's in the hospitals.
