[DYSPHAGIA] Endoscopic sheaths

Again, our risk management department said we couldn't use sheaths with
one person and not with another b/c of diagnosis (i.e. VRE, HIV, etc...)
How are you getting around this? We were told that we should be treating
all patients as if they were HIV, that is, universal precautions, etc.
And, Cidex steralization should be enough (the Cidex is another issue
altogether- our hospital is trying to phase out Cidex b/c of noxious
chemicals). There is a new chemical called Encompass that we are trying
to order, to replace Cidex. Anyone out there using that?
