[DYSPHAGIA] 7-day SLP coverage
>1. Does your facility provide seven-day (weekend) SLP services?
Our hospital has on-call weekends, which our staff rotates.

We do new dysphagia consults with fairly specific criteria - NPO without an
alternative route of nutrition, or a situation in which discharge might be
held if SLP did not complete the evaluation. We call the floor and get a
sense of the patient's status from nursing prior to going in to the facility.
However, if the therapist does go in, often we will do other consults that
have come in to "lessen the load" for Monday morning.

Not to my knowledge.
