Not drinking until the end of a mealRe: Not drinking until the end of a =
meal

I have heard of this as well, although I never had any patients who =
practiced it. I am pretty sure I heard about it on a tape by Deepak =
Chopra, M.D., a mind-body medicine physician. He says that for optimum =
digestion, one should drink very little or nothing during a meal, so the =
stomach acids and digestive enzymes will not be diluted. I do not =
remember anything more than that; it was a tape I listened to several =
years ago from the library, and I'm fairly certain it was by Dr. Chopra. =
I believe the topic of the tape was something like "Optimal digestion."
