However, be aware that specific facilities also have their own regulations
which obviously take precedence over state regulations (assuming the facility
regulations are more strict.) You would have to examine the facility policy
and procedure manual for the MBS as well as the state regs, and approach the
facility to change P&P (with all that entails) if warranted in your
situation. In my experience I've seen this as kind of touchy ground. Our
radiologists were never thrilled with doing MBS studies, but they didn't
want anyone doing the studies WITHOUT them, either.
