Hi everyone,
Thank you for your responses. I will be sharing them
with the team on Tuesday.
I didn't explain the resident's spasticity too well.
He is nearly always spastic with extreme spasticity at
times. When he is seated upright in his wheelchair,
he must have his chest strap and seatbelt in place to
maintain his position because he tends to hyperextend.
He also has "ATR" where his arm goes one way and his
head the other. When he was seen at the clinic for
the pump, it was reported that he was very relaxed for
who he is. I hope this explanation is a little
better.
Thanks again!
Karen
