[DYSPHAGIA] Fossamax

Once the drug was released from trials it was found that many patients did
not follow the recommendation of upright positioning for 30 minutes after
taking the pill. Also lots of water. There were reports of esophageal
dysphagia. It is tolerated by most people taking it properly but could be
problematic especially if there was a preexisting esophageal problem.

I believe that side effect is clearly stated in the info to users as well as
in research articles. Basis for the upright position guidelines after a
person takes Fosamax.
