[DYSPHAGIA] transverse vocal cordectomy
This presentation suggests that with the Passy in place, airflow up
through the cords for exhalation is fucntionally obstructed and the valve
cannot be used safely under these circumstances. It would be a little
like using it with a cuffed trach, only some air would be trapped between
the Passy and the cords rather than all below the cuff...)
