One obvious thing I forgot - is your patient taking
any of the ACEs for his cardiac condition? If so,
they are notorious for producing a chronic dry cough -
given that he has COPD etc etc. granted it's hard to
tell in this case but it's something to keep in mind
re patients with hypertension and other cardiac
conditions on ACEs
