I have some information on Enfamil AR. It is an infant formula with added
rice starch that causes the formula to thicken when it "comes in contact
with an acidic envvironment similar to that which occurs in babies'
stomachs". This information is contained in a flyer given to my by a
pediatric dietician. The flyer contains info on vicosity changes when the
formula is in contact with an acidic environment (vicosity is decribed as
being 10x higher than that of "routine formula"), a nutritional breakdown
of the formula, and a comparison of weight gain patterns between babies (14
-120 days) fed "routine formula like Enfamil plus iron" and those fed
Enfamil AR. My flyer does not contain any information about where/who
completed the study or whether the data have been published.

Hope this is helpful.
